Typical of co-operative structures in Canada, Valley Roots Housing Co-operative will have a board structure composed of both resident and non-resident members. As the 32-unit co-operative at 24 Highbury Road in New Minas, is slated to open in October 2026, there are currently no resident members on the board of directors.
